Shield Azure, fleur-de-lis Or between two branches of apple tree or, in base two barrulets Argent, charged with three watermill's wheels Sable. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "VILA DE MACEIRA".
Meaning:
The branches of apple tree (Port.: macieira) are canting elements. The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of the Light, the local patron saint.
