Shield Argent, an orange tree eradicated Vert fruited Or flanked by two peacocks Proper facing the tree, chief gyronny of eight Argent and Sable charged with a cross fleury in counterchanged colours. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "SÃO DOMINGOS DE BENFICA".

São Domingos de Benfica is one of the 24 communes of Lisboa Municipality. It had 33 043 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 4,29 km². São Domingos de Benfica, located east of Benfica proper in the 3rd historical district, today is the home of the famous Reds from
Benfica FC. On its terrain there is Estádio da Luz (= Stadium of Light).
