Coat of Arms

Shield Or parted by a saltire Gules, on chief quarter a corn cob Vert, on base quarter a grape bunch Purpure leafed Vert, on both flanch quarters a cogwheel Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "CRISTELOS - LOUSADA".
Meaning:
The saltire is the attribute of St. Andrew, the local patron saint, corn cob and grape bunch are representations of agriculture, the cogwheels of industries.
