Shield Or Proper, three wheat ears Vert, ordered 2:1, in chief a royal crown Proper, in base two branches of laurel Vert, tied Azure, crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "LOURIÇAL".
Meaning:
The laurel (Port.: louro) branches are canting.
