Shield Or semy of corn cobs Gules leaved Vert, the whole superimposed by a cogwheel Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "RAMALDE".
Meaning:
The corn cobs are representing the agricultural past of the commune, where maize meal was produced since times immemorial in order to support the city of Porto. The cogwheel is representing the recent industries of the commune. The golden colour is symbolizing wealth and economic progress.

Ramalde Commune is one of the seven communes of the Porto municipality (q.v.); it had 38 012 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 5.7 km².
