Shield Or fretty Azure, over all a pair of scales of Azure and Argent. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "S. MIGUEL DE VILA BOA".
Meaning:
The pair of scales is an attribute of St. Michael, name giver of the commune.
