Shield Vert divided by a slightly abased threefold bar wavyof Argent and Azure; above a belfry Argent lined Sable, crowned by a black cross and flanked by a Christian king's head at dexter and a Moorish king's head at sinister; below a wheat ear Or and a sword Argent hilted Or tied Gules and crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "SÃO MARCOS DA SERRA".
