Shield Argent semy of branches of olive Vert fruited Sable, in chief a cross fleury Vert, in base a Roman bridge Sable issuant from a base wavy of Azure and Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black initials: "AZOIA DE CIMA".
Meaning:
The branches are stressing the economic importance of olive oil. The cross is alluding to the Order of Avis. The Roman bridge, a local heritage monument is also alluding to old age of the commune. Draft designed by José Bènard Guedes.

Azoia de Cima Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Santarém Municipality (q.v.); it had 454 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 8.43 km².

Shield Gules, two wolves passant affronty Argent eyed Gules between a conch Or in chief and three ears of wheat ordered like a fan in base. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black initials: "TREMÊS".
Meaning:
The conch is an attribute of St. James, the local patron saint. The ears are symbolizing the cultivation of wheat since times immemorial. The wolves are alluding to a local legend telling about two wolves, which caused tremor in the settlement. Draft designed by José Bènard Guedes.
