Shield Argent, an eradicated olive tree Vert fruited Sable, issuant from base wavy Azure, charged with a barrulet wavy, Argent a three-arched bridge Sable masoned Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "RIO TORTO - VALPAÇOS".
Meaning:
The name "rio torto" means "crooked river" and is the name of an actual stream in this commune, represented by the base wavy.
