The shield of the arms is Gules a bendy key Or over a sinister-bendy key Argent set per saltire, both with their bows to the base and their wards pointing downwards,tied Argent, flanked by two wheat ears Or and accompanied in chief and in base by two maize ears Or leaved Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "QUIRÁS - VINHAIS".

The shield of the arms is Argent a an eradicated pine tree Vert between two roe deer respectant Gules armed Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "PINHEIRO NOVO - VINHAIS".
Meaning:
"Pinheiro novo" means "new pine tree"; the arms are thus partly canting.
