The flag of Maysky District has a light blue field bearing a pheasant, with a green border on the hoist, base and fly sides, showing a head of wheat, a sword and a lily-of-the-valley flower.

- blue wavy edges symbolize the unusual geographical location of the city of Maisky, used to create a military post Prishib;
- a brick wall with loopholes, located at the end, symbolizes the military fortification of Prishib, as the fundamental principle of the formation and development of the city. The fortress is a symbol of protection, protection, patronage, impregnability and stability;
