The flag and arms of Renče - Vogrsko are prescribed by Decision Odlok o grbu, zastavi in žigih Občine Renče - Vogrsko, adopted on 18 October 2007 and published on 29 October 2007 in the official municipal gazette Občinski list, Uradno glasilo Občine Renče - Vogrsko, Uradne objave, 10/2007. The symbols, designed by Vinko Jarc, are presented in an article by Nataša Podgornik, Občinski simboli - identiteta občine, published in December 2007 in the municipal bulletin Občinski list Občina Renče - Vogrsko, 11/2007.
The flag is vertical, in proportions either 2:1 or 3:1, horizontally divided red-white, 2:1. The red field contains dark red outlined white chevronels from the coat of arms in its upper half, while the white field contains the dark red outlined crescent vertically divided red and white, from the coat of arms, too.
The aforementioned Decision prescribes the following colours for the flag:
- brick red: Pantone 185;
- dark red: Pantone 188;
- white.

Coat of arms of Renče - Vogrsko - Image by Željko Heimer, 7 February 2008
The coat of arms is described in Article 12 of the aforementioned Decision as follows:
The coat of arms of the municipality of Renče - Vogrsko is shield- shaped and is taken upon the oldest symbols in the region of the municipality. It is composed of two parts. The upper half symbolizes an eel, characteristic of the municipality waters. The lower half is the symbol of the rooftops of the Renče fort. The coat of arms is of brick colour, symbolizing the tradition of brick manufacture in the villages and hamlets of the municipality.
The Decision prescribes the following colours for the coat of arms:
- brick red: Pantone 185;
- dark red: Pantone 188;
- gold: Pantone 873.
However, only brick red (not even white) is mentioned in the description of the coat of arms.
The coat of arms is "Per fess, the chief per pale argent and gules overall a crescent counterchanged, the base argent three chevronels gules embattled moline". Already used by the municipality before its formal adoption, the coat of arms combines the arms of two ancient noble families, Ungrispach from Vogrsko and Hofer from Renče. The Ungrispach arms originate from the XIth century and is said to depict an eel, although this looks like a crescent, which is also canting the name of Vogrsko. In the 1920s the municipality of Vogrsko used the coat of arms of Ungrispach, quartering the crescent with a lion rampant, on the municipal seal. The Hofer arms, heraldically depicting roofs with archers' embattlements, were used from the XIIIth century until 1587, when the family died out. There are still similar embattlements to be seen in the Renče fort.
