Possible flag 1920-1936

Unconfirmed reconstruction of the possible flag
Flag of Kazakhian SSR in 1920 image by Valeriy Koba, 14 January 2021

This reconstruction was made by me for "Vexillographia" web-site, www.vexillographia.ru\kazakhst\soviet.html.
The only source was the photo of small badge for members of the government (4 letters on the pin - abbreviation of the government - "Kazakh Central Executive Committee").

Nobody knows if that flag really existed or the design was made especially for the pin. Photos of real flags (this design) and documents are unknown.

Flag of 1940s

Flag of Kazakhian SSR in 1940’s image by Mark Sensen, 02 June 1996

Red with in the upper part yellow name in script font in Cyrillic [Kazakh] (K,azak, SSR) and Cyrillic [Russian] (Kazachskaja SSR). Big yellow hammer and sickle on the hoist.
Mark Sensen, 02 June 1996

The Kazakh inscription contains (twice) the special letter ka with “hook”: "Казаӄ ССР", which is different from the normal, “hook”-less, Cyrillic ka.
António Martins, 21 Mar 2000

This flag was replaced by a new one in 24 Jan 1953.
