KÜ (website) was established in 1993 by the Vehbi Koç Foundation (Vehbi Koç Vakfı - VKV, founded on 17 February 1969).
The flag of KÜ is red (photo), or white (photo), with the university's emblem.
The emblem of the university represents a moving structure. The typeface is Lubalin; the cedilla of the "ç" has been redrawn with rectilinear edges.
The red color is specified as:
Pantone 187 CMYK 0 100 80 20 RGB 193 11 37 Websafe 990000
The letter's width is prescribed as on 1/3 of the emblem's width. Accordingly, the overall lettering is narrower than the emblem, which does not seem to be respected on any support.
