Çatalağzı

The municipality of Çatalağzı (8,678 inhabitants in 2010) is located 10 km east of Zonguldak.
The flag of Çatalağzı is white with the municipality's emblem. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality".
The emblem of the municipality features a coal miner and the chimney of the coal power plant.
The Zonguldak coalfield, which extends for 50 miles along the Black Sea coast, lies between Ereğli in the south-west, and Çatalağzı in the north-east. It is
approximately 250 km by sea and 375 km by road from Istanbul, and 480 km by rail from the capital, Ankara. The major part of the product is transported by rail or by sea to industrial areas in Anatolia and Istanbul.
Çatalağzı thermal plant has two units that produce 150 megawatts each. The first unit was commissioned in 1989 and the second in 1991. The thermal plant uses hard coal to produce energy. There are a total of 22 thermal plants in Turkey.

Kilimli Belediyespor (Kilimli Belediyesi Spor Kulübü) was established in 1951. The club won the fourth professional league in 1997-1998 and the top amateur league in 2010-2011.
The flag of Kilimli Belediyespor (photo, photo) is white with the club's emblem in the center. The stand-alone emblem has a yellow background, changed to white when used on the flag.
