Presentation of Cerrahgil

Cerrahgil (website) was established in 1887 in Ereğli by the Cerrahoğlu family, to be transferred in 1921 to İstanbul. In 1954, it was incorporated as the first joint stock company in Turkish maritime history.
Cerrahgil's shipping branch operates, in a joint venture with Denizcilik A.S., two kamsarmax bulk carriers built at STX Korea and delivered in 2010.
