According to DANFS, the Halibut got 10 confirmed kills:
1) GENZAN MARU - 10 Dec. 1942
2) SHINGO MARU - 10 Dec. 1942
3) GYUKOZAN MARU - 12 Dec. 1942
4) unknown freighter - 20 Feb. 1943
5) TAIBUN MARU - 30 August 1943
6) unknown freighter - 6 Sept. 1943
7) EHIME MARU - 2 Nov. 1943
8) TAICHU MARU - 12 April 1944
9) GENBU MARU - 27 April 1944
10) KANOME - 27 April 1944
The sub also inflicted damage to other targets. It was awarded with Navy Unit Commendation and Seven battle stars.
