Description of the flag

The community of Crescenta Valley, a part of Los Angeles, should soon have a flag.

Quoting Ruth Longoria, "The Crescent Valley Sun":
"[...]
Six flag designs have been selected from about 25 drawings and computerized images sent to the council during a contest set up by the Town Council's flag committee to come up with a community flag to represent the Crescenta Valley. Voters will decide Nov. 1 which design will ultimately become the Crescenta Valley community flag that is expected to fly at various locations in Montrose and unincorporated La Crescenta.

The design contest ran from Sept. 1 through Oct. 1 and was open to anyone, even non-Crescenta Valley residents. However, only folks who live in unincorporated La Crescenta and Montrose are eligible to vote on the flag.
