The flag of the Bossier Parish, Louisiana, has a green background and a white triangle going from the hoist to the end of the fly. In the middle is positioned a complicated design recalling the parish scenery and activities.
"The Bossier Parish Police Jury invited all our local schools to participate in a contest to design our Bossier Parish Flag. In June of 2001, Ms. Jennifer Hankins, was selected by the Bossier Parish Flag Committee as our winner. Our flag is colorful and reflects various symbols of our Parish. In the center of the flag an outline is shown of Bossier Parish with the Parish Seat (Benton) being shown. To the left of the outline our Bossier Parish Seal is displayed. To the right the State Flower (Magnolia) is displayed. A crawfish is displayed to symbolize one of the great delicacies the State of Louisiana has to offer."
Photo of the flag and information thanks to Jim Firth, Bossier Parish Police Jury.
