While driving through downtown Richmond, Virginia, I passed by the local Job Corps office and took note of the agency's flag flying above the building.
From en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Job_corps: "Job Corps is a program administered by the United States Department of Labor that offers free-of-charge education and vocational
training to youth ages 16 to 24. There are a total of 125 Job Corps centers, including at least one in every state except New Hampshire and Wyoming."
The Job Corps flag features the program's red, white, and blue logo centered on a white field.

Job Corps administrators initially modeled the Job Corps program after the popular Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), which put hundreds of thousands of young men to work in conservation projects at state and national parks and forests across the country during the "New Deal". Job Corps was initiated as a government policy of "War on Poverty", part of the domestic agenda known as the Great Society, established in 1964. The Job Corps program is currently authorized under Title I-C of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998
