- Launch abort system (top)
- Crew module (middle)
- Service module (bottom)
Esteban Rivera, 5 December 2014
A white 2:3 flag with red stripes along its flywise edges, with somewhat diagonal borders such that at the hoist the ratio is 1:13:6 while at the fly the widths of the red stripes are reversed. Centred on the white, in blue the text "ORION" in thin sans letters, slightly less than a third of the white in height. Placed on the line of the second O, a vertical stack of Orion components: From top to bottom the Launch Abort System, the Crew Module, and the Service Module, all in blue with a white fimbriation, the stack being placed so that the LAS' Boost Protective Cover and the Crew Module together vertically fill most of the inner space of the O, with the top of the Service Module covering the bottom of the O, while approximately the top quarter of the LAS reaches into the upper red stripe. The top hoist of the white field bears the red Space Flight Awareness logo. The reverse of the flag shows the reverse of the design.
