The Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) is the only community college in the U.S. state of Rhode Island, located in the city of Warwick. The school was founded in 1964 as Rhode Island Junior College, and renamed in 1980. CCRI currently offers five two-year associate's degrees, which many students use as a stepping stone to transfer to a traditional four-year university to complete a bachelor's degree.
The flag of the Community College of Rhode Island can be seen online. The flag features the CCRI seal in color centered on a white field. The seal shows a torch surrounded by the gold stars from the Rhode Island state flag, above the word "HOPE" in gold letters on a green banner. The entire scene is enclosed by a green ring bearing the name of the school in white capital letters and the year of its founding.
