Marblehead Yacht Club

The Marblehead Yacht Club (MHDYC), founded in 1878, is Marblehead's oldest club. It was the first yacht club in Marblehead to admit women as members (1938) and the first to have a woman flag officer (1975).

The burgee of MHDYC, as shown graphically on the club's website, is red with two red triangles outlined in white placed along the hoist and a white star.
