Description

Some days ago I have find out that already on 22 March 2008 the coat of arms from 1971 of the United Arab Emirates has changed respectively was modified. The Dau (Arab sailing ship) on the breast shield of the falcon was substitute by the colours of the flag. Further the previous golden script of the state motto on the red ribbon under the falcon was substitute by a white script. Therefore also the presidential standard (flag of the reigned Amir as chairman of the council of rulers) has changed.

National flag with the state coat of arms in the middle of the white stripe. Source: Album des Pavillons 2000. The arms on my image is based on the Corel clipart coloured by me according to Album des Pavillons 2000 and a few other images of it. I am not sure (though it is not quite visible in this size) what is the colour of the field between the red disk and the white ornament around it - whether it is white or golden.
