Dokshitskiy Rayon and City of Dokshitsy is joint administrative-territorial entity. Its coat of arms was adopted on 20.01.2006, and its flag on 28.02.2011.

The rayon has 11 Village Councils: Begoml'skiy, Berezinskiy, Berezkovskiy, Volkolatskiy, Dokshitskiy, Kripul'skiy, Krulevshchinskiy, Paraf'yanovskiy, Porplishchenskiy, Sittsevskiy, and Tumilovichskiy village council. Only Begoml'skiy (Urban Settlement of Begoml') has official symbols. Its coat of arms and flag were adopted on 28.02.2011.
