Overview

Guachucal is a municipality in the Nariño Department. The popular legend says that this town was founded by the Guachales Cacique, nevertheless to the historian Guillermo Narváez mentions that it was founded on the 7 of December of 1535 by Pedro de Añazo.
The flag of Guachucal is horizontally divided white-green and charged with stylized sun.

The flag is hoisted, together with the Colombian national flag, over the town hall at <guachucal-narino.gov.co>. The municipal coat of arms is flanked by the municipal and national flags. It can be seen as a ceramics applied on the wall of the town hall (see here).
Although not completely visible, the emblem in the middle of the flag looks there rather like a five-pointed star as seen also the graphic representation of the coat of arms.
Accordingly, I would label the present image of the flag as "unconfirmed".
