Jugooceanija is based in Kotor, Montenegro. Quoting Pomorski leksikon, Zagreb, 1990:

Jugoslavenksa oceanska plovidba (short name Jugooceanija), shipping company from Kotor; established 1954 (active since 1 January 1956). Ships cargo mainly in international free trade and with a few ships maintains line toward Mexico Gulf.
Fleet (1986): 22 ships, total 402420 BRT (685804 DWT); among them 5 half-container ships with 2234 TEU and 11 ships for bulk freight with 533328 DWT (4 haing 72150 DWT each).
In 1962 to Jugooceanija were incorporated the shipping companies Lovčen of Kotor (est. 1948) and Brodarstvo of Herceg-Novi (est. 1957); totaling to 6 larger ships. With the decentralization of Jugolinija gained yet 6 ships (31651 BRT). The first new-built ship was Boka (1958 in shipyard 3. maj, Rijeka; 11440 DWT).

The house flag ofJugooceanija, as shown as on Josef Nüsse's Ships and Flags website, is white with a thin red saltire and in the middle a blue ring containing a red star. The proportion of the flag is 2:3.
