Description

A triangular pennant, on a golden ground a red disc; in the canton the number of the division in black Roman numerals, e.g. 'VII.'. The infantry commander was the leader of all the artillery of an (infantry) division; as an example I show the artillery commander of the 7. Div., as this was based in Munich. There was no artillery commander in the cavalry divisions. Source: Dreyhaupt 2000 [drh00].
