Sachsen Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale; at dexter Or a demi-eagle Sable, armed Gules and couped per pale; at sinister Argent two crossed short swords Gules in saltire.
Meaning:
The dexter half is also the dexter half of the lesser arms of the Free Imperial City of Nürnberg, to which the village belonged since 1406. The short swords, also called Saxen, are canting, due to the colonisation by Saxonian settlers in the Medieval.
