The flag's ratio is 3:5. It is a red over white over red horizontal triband with ratio 1:3:1. The coat of arms is in the centre of the flag.

Description of banner:
It is a red - white - red vertical triband with ratio 1:3:1. The coat of arms is shifted to the top.

Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per bend sinister into silver(=white) with a green clover leaf and red with a silver(white) embattled tower having also a triangular roof.
Meaning:
According to source the arms are marshalling the arms of former municipalities of Südlohn(clover) and Oeding(tower). The existence of the clover leaf is proved on seals since 1784. The tower is the rest of a local castle in Oeding.
