The shield is Gules an ash leaf Argent in pale with nine leaflets.
Meaning:
The comprehensive municipality of Eschede used the same symbols before 2014. Thus the leaflet is probably symbolizing the villages Eschede proper, Höfer, Habighorst, Scharnhorst, Marwede, Endeholz, Kragen and Dalle and the comprehensive municipality. The leaf is furthermore canting, as the name of the municipality is derived from "Esche" (= ash).

Höfer Coat of Arms

The shield is parted per pale. The dexter half is parted per fess into Argent over Vert, above an oak twig Vert with two acorns, beneath a plough share Argent. At sinister in a field Gules and issuant from a barrulet wavy Argent a pithead frame Argent.
Meaning:
The pithead frame is representing former salt mine of Mariaglück.
