It is a vertical red-white-red 3-stripes banner with ratio approx. 2:9:2. The coat of arms is shifted to the top within the white stripe.

Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, a trefoil of hearts Sable, chief plain Gules.
Meaning:
The municipality overtook the symbols of former Londorf municipality. The arms are a modification of the Nordeck zur Rabenau family, the chief was added as a distinguishing mark.
The coat of arms was approved on 30 July 1971 by Minister of Interior of Hesse. It had formerly been approved on 18 March 1958 to Londorf Municipality, which had been incorporated into Rabenau on 1 October 1970
