Hohenleuben Coat of Arms

Shield Azure an impending castle Or, masoned Sable, with embattled wall, two wings and a tower topped by a flag. Port Gules, charged with anarmed arm Argent. In base an inscription Or "MCC".
Meaning:
The arms display the local castle of Reichenfels and the date 1200 in Roman numerals (= MCC). The city developed around the castle, hence the importance of the castle increased. The wall is symbolising the city rights. Arm and sword in the gate are symbolising the court of justice in Reichenfels and later in Hohenleuben.
The arms were approved in 1937.
