Shield Azure two bars Or, in centre an inescutcheon Gules, charged with a plough share Or.
Meaning:
The arms were proposed by General State Archive Karlsruhe in 1910. The basic pattern with two bars displays the family arms of the Lords of Gemmingen, local rulers from 1355 to 1806. The inescutcheon is a distinguishing mark. The plough share is stressing the rural character of the municipality.
