Coat of Arms

Shield Sable, parted by a bend sinister wavy Or, above right a trefoil Or, beneath left two bars Argent.
Meaning:
The bend sinister wavy is representing Aar creek crossing the municipality. The trefoil is taken from the arms of the Lords of Dernbach (Alt-Dernbach = Herborn-Seelbach). The bars are taken from the arms of the Lords of Bicken.
