Egelsbach Banner

It is a green-white-green-white-green vertical banner, the ratio of stripes is approx. 1:3:12:3:1. The coat of arms is in the central stripe shifted to the top.

Egelsbach Arms

The shield is Argent and displays an oak twig Vert with three acorns, issuant from a heart Gules.
Meaning:
The old seals of the town, the oldest dating from 1622, all disply an oak leaf, as the village historically belonged to the Dreieich Forest Estate, Dreieich meaning "three oaks". On the seals the tree is rising from clear roots. The arms were officially approved in 1953.
