Description of banner:
The ratio is 3:5. It is a blue over white over blue horizontal triband with ratio 1:2:1. The coat of arms is in the middle of the white stripe.

Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a blue shield is a silver(=white) fire blazing dragon.
Meaning:
According to source the dragon is that one aboding upon Drachenburg castle according to fame. The colours blue and silver had been those of the von der Leyen family.

Note that the flag mentioned in Hauptsatzung might be a banner. But in any case it is without coat of arms. The other flag is obviously in use and can be seen at this online catalogue

Flag and coat of arms were adopted by the local council on 2 March 1971.
