Wipfeld Coat of Arms

Shield Gules parted by a pale wavy Argent, at dexter initials Argent "CI" under a 6-point star of the same, at sinister is the mirror image of the dexter half.
Meaning:
The tinctures red and white ar those of the Bishopric of Würzburg, to which the village historically belonged. The pale wavy is rpresenting the River Main. The initials and the star are taken from the arms of Conrad Celtis, a famous humanist, born 1459 in Wipfeld.
