Auenwald Coat of Arms

Shield Or, a boar's head Sable armed Argent and tongued Gules, plain chief embattled Azure.
Meaning:
The municipality was established on 1 July 1971 by a merger of the former municipalities of Lippoldsweiler, Oberbrüden and Unterbrüden. The head had been a canting element in the family arms of the Lords of Ebersberg, former rulers of a namesake lordship.
