Kist Banner

It is a green-white-red horizontal vertical tricolour without arms (see right image above) or with arms (see left image above) slightly shifted to the top.
Source: I spotted both banners on 3 October 2014 on the borders of the municipality alongside the road from Tauberbischofsheim to Würzburg.

Kist Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent a deciduous tree Vert on a lawn of the same, at sinister Gules an impending horsehead Argent bridled Sable.
Meaning:
A local seal with a print from 1767 already displayed a deciduous tree on a lawn. The horsehead is taken from the arms of the Zobel kin, local rulers from 1502 until 1515. The tinctures red and white had been those of Franken and Würzburg.

The coat of arms was approved on 30 November 1968.
