Ochsenfurt Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, a castle Gules with broad central tower, flanked by two embattled towers Gules, all with roofs Azure topped by three golden balls, in central port Argent a demi-ox passant Sable armed Or.
Meaning:
The arms are based on the oldest city seal with prints since 1316. The 2nd main seal from the early 15th century displayed even more details. The lesser seal from the end of the 14th century just displayed the ox in a shield. All souces, especially the Wernigerode Roll of Arms (1486/92) display the same pattern. Since the 19th century the 1st pattern was restored.
