The CESMET flag features the agency's logo centered on a black field. The logo incorporates the Ministry of Defense logo, with a picture of a subway car superimposed. Arched above the logo is a blue ribbon with the name of the agency in white capital letters. Arched below the logo is a red ribbon with the agency's acronym in white capital letters. Below the red ribbon are the letters "MIDE" in white capital letters for Ministerio de Defensa, the ministry that oversees CESMET.

The Cuerpo Especializado Seguridad del Metro (CESMET, Specialized Body for Subway Security) is an agency of the Dominican Republic's Ministry of Defense. The agency was created on 3 July 2007 by Decree No. 316-2007, according to the Google translation of their website. According to the same translation, CESMET's mission is to establish a security system over the entire spectrum of operations of the underground transportation system and the national railway system. Reportedly 60% of CESMET's workforce is from the Dominican Republic Army, 20% from the Navy, and 20% from the Air Force.
