The Flags

Aspect ratio of the flags: 2: 3
Within half a cogwheel above and a half corn wreath below is a mosque. The symbol, which has remained essentially the same, has only been changed slightly. A change to the flag took place in 2016, with the gear wheel and wreath of ears now yellow. In the case of a real flag in the governor's meeting room, the coat of arms can be seen in green, outlined yellow.

In 2011, following changes to the governorate's coat of arms, half of the cog turned silver, the wreath green and the mosque is on a blue base. At the same time, the flag was changed to include the new coat of arms.
