Symbols of La Mojonera

The flag of La Mojonera, adopted on 27 January 2000 by the Municipal Council and validated on 14 December 2000 by the Royal Academy of Cordóba, is prescribed by Decree No. 80, adopted on 13 March 2001 by the Government of Andalusia and published on 7 April 2001 in the official gazette of Andalusia, No. 41 (text). This was confirmed by a Decree adopted on 30 November 2004 by the Government of Andalusia and published on 20 December 2004 in the official gazette of Andalusia, No. 246, pp. 28,986-29,002 (text).
The flag is described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag, in length (from hoist to fly) one time and a half the width, vertically divided into two equal stripes, the first one white and the second one sea blue. The municipal coat of arms is placed in the white stripe, with its vertical axis located one third from the hoist.

The coat of arms of La Mojonera, adopted on 28 July 1988 by the Municipal Council and validated on 30 January 1988 by the Royal Academy of History, is prescribed by Decree No. 230, adopted on 24 October 1989 by the Government of Andalusia and published on 24 November 1989 in the official gazette of Andalusia, No. 94, p. 5,320 (text). This was confirmed by a Decree adopted on 30 November 2004 by the Government of Andalusia and published on 20 December 2004 in the official gazette of Andalusia, No. 246, pp. 28,986-29,002 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:

Coat of arms: Azure a sun or [with 16 rays] in base two fesses argent. A bordure or charged with the writing "10 ABRIL 1984" [10 April 1984] in letters gules. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.

The elements of the shield allude to the agricultural resources generated by the new technics. The writing "10 April 1984" recalls the establishment of the municipality, by secession from Félix.
