The flag and arms of Casavieja are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 16 August 1993 by the Provincial Government and published on 30 August 1993 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 166 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:
Flag: Purple, white and green, from bottom to top in equal horizontal stripes, with the coat of arms in the central stripe.
Coat of arms: Argent a ruined house or surrounded by two trees vert. Rounded-off in base and surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
The flag hoisted on the Town Hall (photo, photo) has no coat of arms in the white stripe.
Another photo shows the flag hoisted vertically, with the white stripe slightly larger than the other ones, charged with the municipal coat of arms placed vertically.
The arms must be canting, featuring an old house (casa vieja).
