The municipality of Moraleja de Matacabras (50 inhabitants in 2018 vs. 303 in 1910; 1,493 ha) is located on the border with the Province of Valladolid, 80 km north of Ávila.

The flag and arms of Moraleja de Matacabras are prescribed by an
Agreement adopted on 1 September 2018 by the Municipal Council, signed
on 28 February 2019 by the Mayor and published on 15 March 2019 in the
official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 52, pp. 12,329-12,330 (text).
The symbols, which are supported by a memoir redacted by Andrés J. Nicolás-Minué Sánchez and were approved on 9 October 2018 by the
Chronicler of Arms of Castilla y León, are described as follows:
Flag: Panel in proportions 1:1; width to length, divided into four quarters: the upper hoist quarter, green, charged with a bell tower argent; the upper fly quarter, red, charged with a little bustard argent; the lower hoist quarter, blue charged with a wind argent; the lower fly quarter, golden yellow, a grapevine proper. The shield's width is 2/3 of the flag's width. (Panel's proportions according to Article 13 of Decree No. 105 issued in 9 May 1991 by the Government of Castilla y León).
Coat of arms: Spanish shield, oblong with rounded-off base. Quarterly, 1. Vert (green) a bell tower argent, 2. Gules a little bustard argent, 3. Azure a wind argent, 4. Or a grapevine proper. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed [detailed description skipped] (Shape of the shield and crown according to Articles 11 and 12 of Decree No. 105 issued in 9 May 1991 by the Government of Castilla y León).
The flag is therefore a banner of the municipal arms, which were
designed from scratch by Institución Gran Duque de Alba.
The first quarter represents the churchs bell tower (15th-16th
centuries); the second quarter alludes to the local abundance in little
bustards; the wind in the third quarter makes the arms canting,
referring to a strong northern wind locally known as matacabras ("goat
killer"),; the fourth quarter recalls grapevine cultivation in the
municipality.
