The municipality of Villaldemiro (74 inhabitants in 2009; 1,343 ha) is located 25 km of Burgos.

Symbols of Villaldemiro

The flag and arms of Villaldemiro are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 27 April 2001 by the Municipal Council, signed the same day by the Mayor, and published on 1 June 2001 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 106, pp. 8,696-8,697 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular flag, with proportions 1:1. Horizontally divided, the upper part red with a stripe or (0.1), in diagonal in the first half, the lower part green, charged with a stripe argent (0.1), in diagonal in the second half. In the middle of the flag is placed the municipal coat of arms.
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Gules a warrior's bust argent and proper on his fist a falcon proper, 2. Vert a pillory or with three steps and a column topped by a cone and a sphere, in chief a garb or a bunch of grapes of the same, grafted in base argent a wave azure. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
