The municipality of Valle de Valdebezana (550 inhabitants in 2012;
15,660 ha) is located in the northwest of the Province of Burgos, 90 km
The municipality is made of the villages of Argomedo, Arnedo, Bezana, Cabañas de Virtus, Castrillo de Bezana, Cilleruelo de Bezana, Cubillos del Rojo, Herbosa, Hoz de Arreba, La Estación, Las Cabañas, Montoto, Pradilla de Hoz de Arreba, Quintanaentello, Quintanilla de San Román, Riaño, San Cibrián, San Vicente de Villamezán, Soncillo (capital), Torres de Abajo, Torres de Arriba, Villabáscones de Bezana, Villamediana de San Román, and Virtus.

The flag of Valle de Valdebezana (Escudos y Banderas de la Provincia de Burgos website) was approved on 14 April 2005 by the Municipal Council.
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular flag, with proportions 2:3, made of a white isosceles triangle with the base along the hoist and the vertex in the middle of the fly. The two other triangles are red at the top and green at the bottom. Near the hoist and on the white triangle is placed the municipal coat of arms, in height 40% of the flag's hoist.
The white triangle forms the letter "V", symbolizing the name of the municipality.
The coat of arms of Valle de Valdebezana is prescribed by a Decree
adopted on 29 December 1997 by the Government of the Province of
Burgos, signed on 15 January 1998 by the President of the Government,
and published on 26 January 1998 in the official gazette of Castilla y
León, No. 16 (text).
The coat of arms, which was validated by the Chronicler of Arms of Castilla y León, is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Per fess, 1. Gules a castle [or] port and windows azure masoned sable, 2. Vert in chief a cow passant proper with a collar and bell or in base two haystacks of the same. A bordure argent a chain of 22 links sable. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown.
