Symbols of Santas Martas

The flag and arms of Santas Martas are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 23 July 2003 by the Municipal Council, signed on 8 August 2003 by the Mayor, and published on 22 August 2003 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 162, p. 11,470 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag with proportions 2:3, made of three horizontal stripes with proportions 2:5, 1:5 and 2:5, the upper stripe red, the central stripe yellow, and the lower stripe green.
Coat of arms: Argent a fess gules charged with a scallop of the first cantonned with three wheat spikes vert. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown closed.
