The flag of Los Molinos (photo, photo, photos) is white with the municipal oat of arms in the middle. The symbols do not appear to have been officially approved.
The coat of arms of Los Molinos features the San Roque pine (presentation). Standing on a hill dominating the town - therefore its nickname of "lonely pine"-, the San Roque pine (Pinus sylvestris) is registered on the Regional List of Endangered Species of the Fauna and Wild Flora of the Community of Madrid, as a "singular tree". The pine, 200 to 300 years old, is one of the last survivors of a former big pinewood, which was totally suppressed in the second half of the 20th century by man-induced blazes. The list was last updated by Order No. 68, released on 20 January 2015 by the Division of Environment of the Community of Madrid and published on 4 February 2015 in the official gazette of the Community of Madrid, No. 29, pp. 53-58 (text)
